NEVER, after four Mercedes this has put me off buying another. It is too clever by half and the dealers don't care - they just want to extract as much money as they can in the shortest time possible.

BMW X series or perhaps a Volvo or a VW estate

Previously owned 3 Mercedes and like their reliability and build quality

powerful, responsive, good ride, and stops well

Have you had any problems with the car?
Lots. Ventilation system - one vent stopped working and required dash removal (5 days in dealership). Seat memory system kept draining battery. Tacky plastic components replace metal components in earlier versions.
What's most practical about your car?
Enough power to get you out of trouble. Beutiful smooth ride.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bose sound system & sunroof make touring in France a dream
