The car is a tool for me - it can say whatever people think it does.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Wife hates it because it is an auto. Son and daughter really rate it as very smart looking and nice to be in.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - it does everything it should (breakdown excepted), is quiet, economic and quick.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another one, or an E class.

Mercedes name and reputation, plus a good deal

Very good - kept me fully informed and delivered ahead of schedule

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
really strong low down torque mated with the auto box makes it a pleasure to drive in varying traffic. Surprisingly good around the bends at speed as well. Taut.
What's it like to park?
Pretty easy. Star on bonnet shows where the front is, and the tailgate is vertical. Don't rate the parktronic too highly - it gives warnings too late even backing up against another merc with same height bumper (and yes, I was watching the display)

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Superb until 11th Feb. 8500 miles injectors failed on start up. MB service superb. Did not question the call, simply sent a truck within 1hr and replacement car shortly thereafter, which later changed for a Mercedes. Still waiting for spares........
What's most practical about your car?
Remote tailgate is a boon as is the "see you home" lighting. It is very quiet at speed and astonishingly economical for an auto car (46mpg average)

Comand and UMI - Endless music from my Ipod, fully searchable.
