  • Summary

What does this car say about you?

The car is quite old-mannish and boring in appearance.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My wife tells me that it reminds her of a cockroach. I can (sort of) see what she means.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No. Comapred to other Nissans it has a tinny, poor quality feel. It is also very uncomfortable on long journeys. On the plus side, I must say that that it offered very good protection when heavily rear-ended by a car that failed to spot that I was in standing traffic.

What are you likely to buy next?

Something that's a lot more comfortable.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchise

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £9,000

When did you buy the car?

    February 2005

Did you get a good deal and why?

The car had been used as a demo model, was nine months old and had 7000 miles on the clock. At £9000 it seemed a good buy. I had been driving a Nissan QX for the previous seven years and had never had a problem with it.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    What was the dealer like?

    Courteous and helpful.

  • Driving it

    2 out of 5 2.0

    What's it like to drive?

Road and wind noise is quite intrusive at motorway speeds. The 1.8 engine is woefully underpowered with an auto box. The front seats are unsupportive causing back ache after long journeys.

    What's it like to park?

    Generally easy to park.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong that could be blamed on the car. It has, however, been damaged by vandals twice and has been driven into by an idiot uninsured driver.

What's most practical about your car?

Plenty of room in the cabin and in the boot.
