    Modernistic

    What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    All liked it 'on the drive' & over short journeys. ALL HATED it on a longer journey (3 hours) my daughter & boyfriend were uncomfortable in the back so had to swap seats with my wife in front. On longer journeys my wife & I had to swap over driving, first time ever!

    Would you buy this car again and why?

    NEVER EVER will I buy another NISSAN. The Manufacturer has no scruples & appears to go out of their way to deny responsibility for any fault, "not recognised" by them, despite the dealers reports!

    From a quality manufacturer.

    Did you get a good deal and why?

    Thought so at the time. A large discount as an 'ex-demo', with just 40 miles on the clock when first driven.

    Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    A pre-Reg 'bargain'. Adding to the asking price of just under £25,000 was a towing pack, 3 year manufactures warranty & superguard treatment.

    What's it like to drive?

    Has a sporty feel unlike most of the other S.U.V.s. Great shame that moving off from stationary & very low revs with the auto (CVT) box is totally unsatisfactory, see comments above.

    What's it like to park?

    Great, however, camera system has scope for improvement!

    Have you had any problems with the car?

    BEFORE collection I expressed concern at lack of response to acceleration from standstill. Nissan U.K. told dealer, upgrade in a month. It never came, 7 months on, my wife refused to drive the car on her own. It's now been swapped to a different make, incurring over £8,000 loss. Nissan U.K. denied any problem, but there are 3 locally the same. Dealer has EXCELLENT reputation, but hands are tied by NISSAN UK. Very poor customer service from maker. Will never buy another Nissan.

    What's most practical about your car?

    Reasonably roomy, definitely not spacious.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Numerous gadgets on the Tekna, BUT surround camera system is disappointing.
