Got the motor for a song - the dealer ripped himself off by forgetting to charge me the deposit (£1500).
Costs
Get 30-something mpg - 'bout average.

Driving
Comfy and quiet inside. You can swing it around a corner without feeling you're about to become friendly with a tree.
Performance
It's a french family lugger - a bit bland on the pull-off, but a flyer on the motorway when it reaches take-off velocity and holds it well, too!

Mmmmm. Needed a droplink (whatever the hell that is) and a new exhaust (that one was my fault) and a couple of tyres. Oh and someone nicked my rear wiper - a fiver replacement from the scrappy.

The missus thinks it's great. I'm, on the other hand, looking at a Peugeot 306 D-Turbo to replace it.
