• Summary

What does this car say about you?

I wouldn't like to think, they are common as muck and a favourite with the boys

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    Just ok

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, I wouldn't buy a SEAT again. The dealer is rubbish. The quality of the materials is low and so much has gone wrong with it. The warranty is about as much use as a chocolate tea pot.

What are you likely to buy next?

A bicycle - far less of a chew on

When did you buy the car?

    November 2006

Did you get a good deal and why?

0% Finance, £500 off, Mats, a tank of fuel, and half price super guard.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    0% Finance

    What was the dealer like?

The dealer was ok then, allowing me to have several test drives, and answering all my questions. The dealer now however won't do anything - the service is appauling.

  • Driving it

    2 out of 5 2.0

    What's it like to drive?

Firm ride, light steering, noisy engine, but apart from that its alright :o)

    What's it like to park?

The light steering helps. Just be careful not get it knocked as the large door panels show all the scuffs and scratches

  • Living with it

    1 out of 5 1.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, lots. 1, Condensation behind the lights 2, Engine Mangement lights have come on (4 times) with loss of power - quite scary when driving along 3, Central locking packed up after three days 4, Pulls to the right - steering wheel not centred 5, Loud bangs and knocking from front suspension 6, Who knows what is next...

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is huge for the size of car. My friend has a Colt and her's is tiny.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The reference doesn't come with any. The automatic door locking is a novel idea but can become quite annoying, especially when your passengers are yanking on the handle to get out.
