What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone loves the car. Even the passengers in the back enjoy the car with plenty of space and say it is very comfortable.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would definitely buy this car again without any hesitation. I would recommend and have recommended it to everyone.

What are you likely to buy next?

Not so keen on the newer shape Astra. I really like the shape of my current model. Possibly look at buying the Nissan Qashqai but undecided. Unless I win the lottery and in that case I will be buying an Aston Martin DB9!!

Did you get a good deal and why?

I feel that we got a good deal on the car. The sales team that we ended up buying from were good and we didn't feel under any pressure from them. We knew exactly what car we wanted and what we were willing to pay.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I liked Vauxhall as a manufacturer and planning a family: This seemed like a really good family car.

What was the dealer like?

The branch that we bought the car from were good. They were friendly and didn't hassle us as we walked around. We went to another branch of the same dealer but were constantly hassled and the salesman was very rude so we left.

What's it like to drive?

The car is great for all types of journeys. We have taken it from Edinburgh to Devon without having any hassles and it was very comfortable. It has the power when you want it for overtaking etc with excellent response. I find it great fun to drive. It's got excellent grip to the roads so taking the corners at a slightly higher than normal speed is great without losing any traction.

What's it like to park?

It is very easy to park even though it is bigger than the small city cars. Can fit into the tightest of spaces without any bother. Has a good turning circle which helps parking on small side streets around town.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No major things have gone wrong so far. We have had to get a new coil pack and new brakes but fairly inexpensive. I have never regretted getting this car. It has been the best car we have had.

What's most practical about your car?

It's spacious and very comfortable. It is great for taking on long journeys.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

No gadgets provided on our model but could have purchased sat nav, climate control, etc. To be honest the car is perfect the way it is without any of the toys.
