What does this car say about you?
Like cars with kerb appeal, its a mass market car but looks so much better than a Ford Focus, Volvo C30 or the safe option - VW Golf.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
To early to say, but my son is impressed over the old Astra " Its a big step up in the market place for Vauxhall".

Yes, good trade in price for my old car compaired to other offers.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Downsizeing and running costs.
What was the dealer like?
No hard sell and happy to correct some minor issues and included a basic service on all cars sold.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
No use if you are a "boy racer", the pace is average for a 1.6 power unit, don't forget you get 0-62 in 12.4 sec so no earth breaking pace away from the light. Road holding on the optional 18" wheels is good, steering is a little light but good for town parking and if you are 5 up!
What's it like to park?
With a small rear view window vision is limited but with parking aids its no problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
After reading some other negative posted owner comments I was some what sceptical, but so far its all good.
What's most practical about your car?
Insurance group, reasonable Road Tax banding. Not sure about MPG as yet as I have only had the car a few days and as yet need to monitor the average consumption over the next few weeks, but do not expect to achive the manufactures (laboratory condition results) which never come close to normal consumer driving!!!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Front and rear parking aids, good drivers seat adjustment, cabin illumination, good dash board layout.
