I had a very limited choice of company car!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Its a Vauxhall Astra. They are to be honest quite indifferent

Would you buy this car again and why?

Absolutely not, I have had to drive five hundred miles in two days and it was about as uninspiring as you can get. It struggled to achieve 31mpg on a 60 mile stretch of dual carriageway with the cruise set at 70mph. The designer had obviously given up on producing anything with an ounce of passion. I'm sorry to be so negative, but this is truly the product of indifference!

What are you likely to buy next?

Not another Vauxhall. In all probability a used Mondeo TDCI or BMW 320d. This has inspired me to take the car allowance rather than a company car

What's it like to drive?

Despite initial high hopes, the car is truly terrible to drive. Engine is loud thirsty and gutless, auto box has six speeds yet when approaching the slightest incline appears to need to drop from sixth to third with a big increase in noise seldom matched by an increase in speed

What's it like to park?

Bad no reversing sensors on a 20k car, high waistline. Limited visibility out of back window, really not suited for town parking

Have you had any problems with the car?

Trim falling off after 2500 miles
