I buy for me not for the motoring press.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

everyone loves it and thinks it looks very upmarket and good quality. They are surprised it's an Astra.

Would you buy this car again and why?

It's a great car, well spec'd and drives superbly. I have driven a lot of cars over the year having been in the motor trade and this is a beauty to live with.

What are you likely to buy next?

Maybe an Insignia, I fancy something bigger.

Spec inc. heated leather seats and performance/economy mix.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

Very nice, quiet and relaxed. Refined over any road surface and very smooth on fast roads. Easy to travel faster than you feel you're going though. Fast when you need it but economy nowhere near the stated figures and I drive very light footed.

What's it like to park?

It's doddle to park thanks to light steering and parking snesors. Vision is not the best but as good as most modern cars.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Rattle from the drivers seatbelt stalk which was supposed to be fixed but wasn't and the cruise decelerate button accelerates the car sometimes.

What's most practical about your car?

easy to use with parking sensors all round, light steering and roomy.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Parking sensors, space is a premium on my street and they help a lot.
