Considering it's a family saloon, it's fun to drive.

0-60 is actually 9.5 secs, not 11 as quoted some places - respectable.

Typical VW - get in and drive every time - 38k miles in 2 years and is unphased.

Golf with a boot, but a bit too 'family' for some - look past it, 'cos underneath is a nice solid car.

Excellent cruiser with hugh boot.

Dealer has been excellent and haggled 3 years free servicing, so only have to fuel it.
