Very cheap to buy, even with a FSH and fairly low mileage.
Costs
You get what you pay for, so don't be a scrooge.

Driving
Excellent drive. Bit dodgy round corners at speed, but cruises along on motorways.
Performance
For a BX, it's fast. Slow in 2nd, but kicks in 3rd and 4th.

Living with it
Reliability
If you look after your car, it will look after you. Put a new set of spark plugs in and car wouldn't fire. Took a while before it started. Few LHM leaks. Not major. Driver's side pipe replaced (£24).

If it's clean and kitted out with decent alloys and a twin either side exhaust conversion, it can look mean and wantable.

Like cloud No. 9.

Standard security is Nil, but no one's going to pinch it unless keys are in the car.
Service
Parts are available everywhere (scrap yards).

Engine
Sticky injectors, from cold engine heated up very quick, fan kicked in very late up in to the 90`s.
Other
ABS faulty sensor - knocks ABS off completely if lit on dash. Engine management light kept coming on.
