In their own words

I bought my C1 after previously owning an old Peugeot 107, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but had to keep spending out on for repairs due to age related wear. My C1 was low mileage, with one previous owner and felt like new still, and after 15000 with me and three years she still feels the same! She is reliable, and full of character, and virtually costs me nothing to run. She is frugal with fuel, and has only cost me two wiper blades (one for the front and one for the back) and a 12V battery. Tax is free as she is on the edge of Euro 5 emissions, so I would always recommend a 66 plate example used.
Performance is slow, but I she easily keeps up with traffic and performs fine in the fast lane.
The infotainment system is a bit out of date in 2023, but phone connectivity is easily done with automatic pairing, although no one can hear what I’m saying on the phone if the car is moving, due to road noise. The Citroens and Peugeots don’t seem to come with a boot light for whatever reason, although there is a blanking plate where it should be - unsure why they omitted this as this seems like a basic!
I would opt for the five door if I had to buy again, the large doors on mine are a bit of a squeeze to get out of and rattle when you close them.

Overall have been thrilled with my car and would keep it till it breaks if it was a five door automatic! Will be opting for a Smart Forfour as the next car instead for this reason.
