Better to buy nearly new.

Cheap to run and good insurance / tax bracket.

Driving
Some roll and gearbox can fight you at times. First is really just a parking gear. Good acceleration. Runs happily on motorway and steering very light. Columns can obscure visibility more than expected.
Performance
Handles well and reasonably quiet. Ride is firm, which seemed unusual with Citroen. Good mpg, particularly noticable on urban cycle.

Living with it
Reliability
So far so good - beware exterior bodywork is THIN. Gravel will leave small pits and don't lean too hard on your wings! Otherwise fine.

Mauritius blue with blue interior. Smart and cool, giving an excellent all-round look. Citroen style again...
Comfort
Despite the plasticky interior build, drive comfort quite high. Controls are easily accesible, tilt and raise steering column and seats good. Plenty of headroom.

Immobiliser, blip lock. Alarm optional on this model.
Service
Try and find a small local Citroen specialist - don't go to the big boys, they'll fleece you and take forever.
