In their own words

I bought the Cactus to replace my C4 saloon. Frankly not as good a car as the old model but still as reliable, good mpg and comfortable but lacking in rear seat space. New 1500cc engine appears more powerful but this may be due to the lighter body of the new car. The Cactus handles well on rural roads where it spends most of its time but has shown itself am able motorway cruiser when required. The high rise height and lots of plastic protection outside helps keep the body in good condition with all the hazards country roads in summer and winter present to it. The car is fitter with a tow bar and regularly pulls a trailer showing no difficulty in coping with medium to heavy loads though the maximum towing weight might make all but the smallest of caravans outside it's allowed limits. Mine is an automatic and is proving easy and reliable. Disappointingly not in the same class as the 6 speed electronic gearbox that the cars predecessor was fitted with. I am a long term Citroen driver, 2 C4 2 C3 4 C1 2 BX and a GS after living with the Cactus for two years now I am confident this will not be the last Citroen. The Cactus is maintaining the key qualities of reliability, comfort, handling and value for money I have come to expect.
