In their own words

I purchased this to help reduce my motoring costs - being diesel, I get far better mpg than my previous car (a 2008 Focus 2.0 petrol @ 33 mpg & £240 tax per year), tax is only £20 per year, and being 6 years younger, has better specification - DAB radio, bluetooth, daytime lights, directional lights, reversing sensors, cruise control, speed limiter etc. The ride is typical Citroen, smooth and slightly bouncy, but sure footed on the corners too. The 1.6 diesel engine is pokey, having a good turn of speed upon acceleration, but still very quiet at most rev ranges too. Being Citroen, it has the well proven diesel engine that has been around for quite a few years, and used in many of the Citroen/Peugeot models, so a good reputation. The boot space is generous - ever so slightly bigger than the Focus, the cabin space is good, with height adjustable front seats, adjustable headrests (that pull outwards as well as height adjustment) and comfortable too!! Good sized front door pockets are very useful. The C4 is a car you rarely see - most buyers preferring the C4 Picasso or Grand Picasso - so there are not that many around - compared to other mid sized cars like the Focus or Astra. Negative points? The glovebox is very small - having the fusebox located in there too, however this is compensated with the drawer under the passenger seat. Apart from that I think the C4 is an excellent choice, if you are in the market for a Focus size car, but looking for better value - mine was around £2000 less than a Focus equivalent - age & mileage.
