    Yes and no - yes for economy and practicality, no for looks which are now very dated.

    Did you get a good deal and why?

    Got a better than expected part-ex price for 03 Freelander against the Picasso.

    Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    What was the dealer like?

    Their main focus was solely on getting the deal closed and their hands on the money (and trying to sell extra warranty, etc).

    What's it like to drive?

    Smooth and fairly quiet, can be under-powered if fully loaded with 5 adults and boot full of luggage.

    What's it like to park?

    Doesn't have a very good turning circle but rear parking sensors make it easier.

    Have you had any problems with the car?

    MAF sensor failed which didn't affect the way the car drives but did result in MOT emissions fail, replacement cost was £107.

    What's most practical about your car?

    Able to remove rear seats to leave a van-like load space.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Nothing really, fairly basic as far as 'toys' go but cruise control is useful on long A roads and motorways during quiet times.
