In their own words

Aesthetically the car is far more Avant Garde than anything else out there, France's best kept secret. Depreciation could be an issue due to unfounded beliefs that French cars are unreliable, I've had Citroens since the seventies with very few problems, and now DS have stepped out on their own, build quality and premium materials used have elevated the marque significantly since becoming a stand alone brand, much like lexus and Toyota. The result is that you can get a premium car at a very affordable price. My DS5 prestige auto 180bhp was £34k new, 4 years and 38000 miles later I paid £11k!. The pre facelift version did have a few issues allegedly, like crashy suspension, which have been rectified on later models. Mine is very rewarding to drive, it has more than adequate power, a very smooth changing transmission, extremely comfortable seats and ride, very good economy with very reasonable servicing costs, especially if you take a service agreement and more toys than you could shake a stick at. I love every second I'm in it and it gets lots of admiring comments from people, some of whom don't know what it is, it's rarity is a good point I'm my opinion, it can be quite a talking point.
