In their own words

Not a bad car by any means, but if money is not an issue you may check its competitors. Ultimately, I miss my Grande Punto. TheBravo is honest and stylish, roomy and reliable, but has failed to win me over. As a tool though is fine. fuel consumption in particular is good but not what I expected.

How reliable do you find the car?

starts on the button. top suspension mounts n/s front and rear are noisy; bluetooth won't take 'CALL' command. no air directed to footwell. Radio reception very poor.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

had a 2006 grande punto sporting 1.9jtd previously and expected a better car. In some respects it is (boot space, cabin room, smooth ride, climate control, indicator/wiper stalks), in others is worse (radio reception, fairly noisy on motorway, awful visibility up front due to poorly engineered wing mirrors, recalcitrant gearshift action, slippery aluminium pedals, no footrest-tight footwell, very inaccurate and optimistic mpg indicator, I've seen up to 10mpg discrepancy)
