Good value for money.
Costs
1.2 low tax band, reasonable insurance, but avoid main dealer servicing. Most parts the same as the basic hatchback so DIY a doddle and cheap.

Cool with the hood down.
Performance
1.2 16v, 85bhp. Will get to 120mph although it's a bit windy with the hood down. Will cruise comfortably at a ton. Excellent quick overtaking.

Living with it
Reliability
Keep it serviced! It will purr if driven long journeys daily, but rattle with 2 miles a day each way to work. The 85 loves to be pushed hard everyday!
