Ford C-MAX (2010 - 2019) 1.0 EcoBoost (125bhp) Zetec (05/15-) 5d Owner Review

I have owned Ford cars for over 30 years and thought I would try a C-Max after many years of reliable Focus cars. What a mistake! After only 200 miles on the clock it started to fail to start, showing an engine warning message. Over the next 6 weeks I had to call the AA out seven times and got towed to Ford Main Dealerships 3 times. The Dealerships were unable to fix the car and gave it back to me with the comment , bring it back when it goes wrong again,. On the 4th visit to a Ford Dealership I refused to accept it back until it was fixed. After a week they said that two wiring earth faults had been found and the car was OK. Needless to say, a few days later it failed to start again. The car was returned to Ford who offered no compensation. I will stick to a Focus in future.
