    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Nothing comes close in it's class.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

A bit thirsty. Tyres are expensive, buy the Khumo ones. Michelin have stopped making this size! All else is reasonable inc insurance.

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Slighty heavy at low speed, great otherwise.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

It can be rapid when pushed and the V6 sound is great. Surprisingly agile for such a heavy car, not the best at corners in the wet though. Great fun on twisty country roads!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Tyres, brakes and bulbs that's all. Previous owner had to have a seat heater element changed. Stereo is poor quality and CD changer skips too much but easily upgraded.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

I love the look, some don't. It's a big classy looking machine that still turns heads and has the performance to show up lots of more expensive cars. Spoiler makes it look awful so avoid models with them fitted. People don't believe the price!

    Comfort

    2 out of 5 2.0

Very smooth and refined. Drivers seat lets the car down badly, you just can't get it comfortable. Electric adjustment needs memory and the steering wheel should be reach adjustable instead of just height. Cockpit is great though and very quiet.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Not been touched.

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

First ford dealer was poor, the second was fantastic.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Throttle sticking, new cable assembly:£75 ouch! All else fine.

    Other

Headlamp bulb replacement is a 1hour job by the dealer which is annoying but they only charge £18 which isn't too bad.
