What does this car say about you?

apprentice who couldnt afford anything better

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

its a £500 car so not bad for the money paid

Would you buy this car again and why?

no, i dont enjoy having ear drums burst at high speed, my back broken when going down A roads, and being wound up by all the little noises it makes. the SI badge also bumps the insurance up when its not actually that much quicker than the 1.3 Ghia off the line and will only just touch 110mph after a (very) long "drag strip". i also wasnt impressed by the 22-26mpg it returned while driving economically on long motorway trips. the stereo is terrible and crackly even at low volume. the boot is too small to fit my medium sized tool box in it, leg room is not great even for the driver with the seat all the way back. id rather walk than buy another one of these!

What are you likely to buy next?

Just bought and arranged collection on a 1997 Audi A4 estate 1.8T

no major mechanical failures, just little things like the glovebox cover, ashtray spring, and a really annoying intermittent handbrake light thats comes on when it feels like it, even at 70mph on the motorway

easy to park and good for lane hopping in traffic as its so small!

nippy little engine... 75bhp doesnt sound like a lot but its enough in a car that weighs the same as my shirt!
