What does this car say about you?

That I like pretty cars! I'd like to think people see me as being practical but looking good and having fun with it too!!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My mum thinks it's the most beautiful car I've ever owned and its received happy praise from friends, family and work colleagues too. Neighbours have had their mouths agape as it's a staunch change from my previous car- a Mk4 VW Golf. It has drawn people's gazes when they pass by and see it parked up on the drive.

Would you buy this car again and why?

In a heartbeat. It has everything I need at this stage in my life and has me feeling like I want to steal my own car! It's going to save me a fortune in not having to pay tax, keeping it moving and the overall insurance cover. It's the most mod-con packed vehicle I've had to date and even though not completely necessary to have in a car, the features certainly will make road travel more enjoyable and safe to boot!

What are you likely to buy next?

I've always wanted a VW Golf GTi or Scirocco and was looking at buying a brand new Vauxhall Corsa (the 1.0 litre Sting-R model) before I signed on this little beauty but having embraced Ford once again I find myself thinking I'll be visiting a forecourt of theirs again in future for sure. Time and circumstance then will decide on what when it comes around.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I believe I have considering the car was £16k new, I got 6 months warranty, free interior matts and Ford's breakdown assistance and provided aftercare. The car is in immaculate condition and low mileage at 13k. Very pleased all round!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It stood out for me on journeys to work and the only other option to tempt me from a brand new Vauxhall Corsa.

What was the dealer like?

Very good. Everything was explained with ease and the customer service was as I expected. The whole transactional process was very straightforward and stress free. They were Ford affiliated and had a good range of new and used cars on offer.

What's it like to drive?

This car is my first experience of a turbo powered engine and I'm so far very impressed. As soon as I sat in it I was already in a comfortable driving position and felt completely at one with the machine itself! The ride is smooth (even though it's firm with the sports suspension) and its light to drive on all roads. The three cylinders and turbo work really well together to give you some good pace and it can surprise you at times when the car surges at the slightest blip of the accelerator!

What's it like to park?

I had a little trouble to begin with cos of a smaller rear window to what I'm used to (darker too because of the privacy glass) making reverse parking something I had to adapt my style to. The Fiesta fits in to pretty much most spaces with good vision all around. I have the driver seat at a sensible height but struggle to see the front end of the car at the best of times and have to trust my instinct and spacial awareness. Manoeuvring the Fiesta is no problem at all and makes light work of parking in fairness.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No. And I don't think it will (touch wood).

What's most practical about your car?

The superb economy and fuel range. I'm buying the car on finance but will save a fortune in fuel costs and not having to pay road tax!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The onboard SYNC system designed for Bluetooth audio play and phone usage. This feature also enables you to check digital aspects of the Fiesta's functioning and tweak settings for your convenience.
