Economy
Value
Got £3K+ discount from buying on the net. Got all Ghia mod cons with extra options with still a reasonable price.
Costs
Free diesel for 18 months, so minimal spending, but get between 35-45 Mpg (though mostly town driving) may get costly afterwards.

On the road
Driving
Easy to drive with good accurate/predictable controls. Slight torque steer evident when floored in 1st, 2nd gear. Handles very well for a car this size and weight (1.5 tons!!).
Performance
Smooth with rapid progress if needed. Cruises well, 70mph at 1850ish rpms in 6th. Some turbo lag at low engine speeds.

No probs as yet, all though other reviews say otherwise.

Looks well put together especially with 17"" alloys and window tints, but doesn't scream LOOK at ME!!! which some people like (like me).
Comfort
Excellent seats all round. Many occasions of being fully loaded with adult passengers with comfortable long distance journeys.

So far so good. Got alarm and immob. system and I believe Ford won an award for security for this car..

Hasn't been to the dealer since bought, so can't comment as yet.
