Probably would if there is no better equivalent on the market at the time. Solid car.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Dealer hardly budged from asking price but had a few extras thrown in & got a reasonable trade-in for old car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

As a young family we were moving on from a standard Focus. The CMAX bootspace was especially attractive, as was the comparatively low insurance, and diesel fuel economy.

What was the dealer like?

Reasonably helpful when it came to warranty issues

What's it like to drive?

A solid feel, handles well, satisfying acceleration in the top range...puts many to shame. Feels a bit heavy compared to a standard Focus and diesel slightly laboured at low speeds, but this is to be expected.

What's it like to park?

Not bad but more difficult than standard Focus as cannot see front of bonnet.

Have you had any problems with the car?

3 months after purchase the Exhaust Gas regualtor malfunctioned causing engine cut-out at low revs, but this was replaced (thankfully) under warranty. No major issues since then. Just minor niggles on the rear brakes (sometimes squeal under braking) and the screenwash pump which failed & needed replacing.

What's most practical about your car?

Bootspace and underfloor storage. High headroom is useful for getting babies in & out of a baby seat.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The ability for the middle rear seat to fold down to a table is useful.
