What does this car say about you?
It is a bit family man like, but I am a family man so thats fine by me!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
THey are a smart looking car, mine is light metallic blue which looks nice in all lights. I think other people like it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would buy another one. The handling is suprisingly good, build quality has come a long way - nothing rattles and it is very comfy too!
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably another Focus. But I have to pay for this one first!

I think I got a good deal on my car. There are so many around that you can afford to be choosy.

The dealer (Autoplanet in Southampton) was good. No pressue sales.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Really nice to drive, direct steering, firm ride but not to the point of being harsh. I am surpised how nippy it is (mine is the 100bhp model), obvioulsy not a racing car but good enough for me, I drove a 2 litre one as well and round town, the 1.6 is just as fast but you will notice the difference on the motor way. I think it would surprise many more sporty cars round the county lanes. You can get a nice bit of lift-off oversteer as well!
What's it like to park?
Not too good to park. The rear window is like looking through a letter-box due to the steeply angled rear screen. Good door mirrors. If you are not confident when parking, it may be worth looking for one with parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong with the car yet - but i have only had it a week!
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is big - plenty of room for my labrador! Lots of cubby holes and even a sunglasses holder.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
My favourite gadget has to be the automatic headlights. Not that it is hard to turn your own lights on but it is pretty cool having the car do it for you. You get plenty of kit on the Ghia. The one touch indicator (for 3 flashes) is useful too.
