In their own words

Spacious for a C-segment car, leather seats are super comfortable and the interior is very well put together. It drives superbly with a nice gear change action, the pedals have a good feel and the steering is very well weighted. My only issue is that it's very jumpy from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gear. This could be down to low transmission fluid.

The main talking point is the engine. It's a naturally aspirated 2.0litre with 145bhp and 136lbft. It feels nippy in town and very capable in the overtaking lane on the motorway. With four adults in the car, the performance will feel a little sluggish. This is not a slow car but compared to the current 1.5 ecoboost we get in the Focus, it may seem slow to some. However compare it to the current 1.0 ecoboost, I'd say this 2.0litre wins. This car has no issue getting up steep hills in 4th gear and will get to 70mph and above with ease. My only issue with this engine is the 31mpg I get from it. I can only imagine a 6th gear would improve this massively on the motorway.

Overall I'm very happy with this car
