Ford Focus Hatchback (2011 - 2018) 1.5 EcoBoost Zetec S Navigation 5d Owner Review

I love to drive this car, it's plucky and has everything in the right place for me however some things to watch out for. The Sat nav system can be a little tricky to work out for someone that has no experience with using them before. I often don't use it, instead opting to use a tomtom as it's easier and more user friendly. Don't be fooled by the mpg averages. I bought it thinking ( hoping ) that I'd be seeing somewhere near the 40mpg mark, when in actual fact after 22k on the clock it very rarely goes above 34mpg and that's if your being efficient. Other than that, it's been incredibly reliable, for a small engine it certainly shifts and seems to be fairly flexible with its power delivery as whether your city driving, motorway bound or B road thrashing its quite happy to jaunt along slowly or bury your foot and be amazed that this little 1.5 is making you grin from ear to ear.
