What does this car say about you?

Mrs Ordinary. The car's looks are nothing special. From the outside its just a run of the mill Ford Focus, its so common it seems like everyone has one. However, inside the Titanium X comes alive with so much gadgetry and comfort. Nothing has been overlooked. From the highly technological parking aid to the ridiculously cool mood lighting!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They were all surprised when i came home with a Ford. Having previously said i would NEVER own a Ford! However, this car has totally changed my mind. I love it, and so do they.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Without hesitation. It ticks all the boxes; comfort, technology, price, ride, 150bhp sportiness, theres a lot of car here for your money. Pick a good spec and lots of goodies are included as standard (Zetec and above). Only bad point for me is the mpg - i would probably look at buying the new 1.0 Ecoboost in the future.

What are you likely to buy next?

I hope to keep the Focus for a few years to come but i would be looking to buy a car with the same spec with perhaps a little better mpg economy. As mentioned before i would seriously look at the 1.0 Ecoboost in the future.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Part exchanged a car on New Years Eve. Got a cracking price to close the deal before the New Year. In my opinion, one of the best times of year to get a good deal.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Excellent value for money compared to the competition.

What was the dealer like?

First dealer we went to in Hull did not want our money! the second Dealer in York, who was part of the same franchise was very approachable. Did not feel pressured. Was open to offers. Happy to help in any way.

What's it like to drive?

My last car was a diesel so this is an absolute dream to drive, quiet and refined. However the mpg leaves a lot to be desired - no where near Fords estimate which is a bit disappointing. The car is responsive and fun to drive. Stop-start engine helps around town, when its warmed up, which takes a while. The dashboard computer also helps you to try to drive economically by prompting you to change up gears.

What's it like to park?

Used to have a saloon so feel that the hatchback focus is so easy to park compared to that, and when there's tight spots i use the parking aid. Look mum - no hands!

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had a slight problem with faulty headlights but dealer fixed under warranty with no questions asked.

What's most practical about your car?

Keyless ignition, parking sensors, Ford easyfuel system...there are lots of practical aspects about this car, which makes it the perfect choice.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Bluetooth connectivity with voice control and telephone works like a dream. Streams music effortlessly from my ipod with the ability to control from the steering wheel controls. The parking aid (self park) is a good party piece but not used often enough.
