In their own words

On the whole very pleased. Engine is a little gem, very smooth with enough for everyday motoring even though it is only a 1.0 petrol. On a longer journey we have got 48-50 MPG so far and for all the runaround chores it has never been below 39 MPG and that is whilst the engine is still very tight. Space in the back is exceptional for a car of this size and the handling in ST-Line trim is precise and involving. Sport mode is selectable and does sharpen everything up nicely - the clutch and gearbox are exceptionally smooth too. Downsides are for some reason parking sensors are absent on my model-year unless specced and the pre-collision assist warning (graphic lights up on the dashboard and buzzer sounds) has come up a couple of times even though there was no danger whatsoever!! Once in fog and once when a van started edging out on the opposite side of the road but with a huge amount of spare space. Very pleased so far apart from these issues and will see how our 3 year term goes with it. Recommended.
