What does this car say about you?

In my opinion it is the most mature of the hot hatches. It's a refined vehicle that has a beast within. It says the driver is a petrol head.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all love it. The ST is always the passengers choice when we are going anywhere, they just have to convince me the parking is ok before I leave her there lol I get a lot of comments about how nice a car it is, people who dont know much about cars still appreciate it once they see it. And everyone comments on the interior, and then giggles like a child when you press the loud pedal.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Certainly would. Best car I have ever owned and when the question of what I would have next comes up, I can never answer it. It ticks the boxes and as an all-round vehicle for someone that wants practicality, fun and speed, theres not much that can touch it.

Not a clue. Will have to be something special though, it has a lot to live up to.

Looked for MONTHS and tried plenty of hot hatches and sports cars, the ST was intoxicating and I needed it.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

A blast. The sound of the 5 pot is addictive. When you touch the loud pedal in any gear it just brings a smile to your face. It is not a traffic light racer, that much power is never going to go through the front wheels off the line well without some gadgetry. It is muscular and strong. It holds its own from the lights, but it punches WAY above its weight once those wheels are rolling. Puts a lot of sports cars to shame. Once remapped it becomes a different beast again, the torque increase is incredible and it really does become a weapon. Handling is superb, fit a whiteline rear arb for even more stiffness if you need it. Great to drive on long journeys too, perfect touring car.

What's it like to park?

A doddle. Was a bit of an issue at first as I went from a small sports car, could see a lot more with the roof down. Get the parking sensors and it's even easier. You can have them delivered from ebay for around £30 and they are easy to fit.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The alternator broke but it was covered by the warranty. Apart from that it is bombproof.

What's most practical about your car?

Sense of security.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The leather recaros are a must for me. On the ST3 only, but they make it a much more grown up place to be.
