Superb.
Costs
Bought 1 exhaust, about 8 tyres and had a couple of wishbones and the cam belt replaced in 88,000 miles.

Excellent, although in early years did tend to pull to left a little.
Performance
It seems to accelerate ok, but I couldn't give a toss anyway.

Superb. Called rescue people twice in 8 years. Once because exhaust fell off and the other when I locked myself out.

Not really, but only sad people care about their image, and they wouldn't read this anyway.
Comfort
I don't know any different and I am not crippled with pain after driving, so I can't complain.

No-one has knicked it yet, or anything from it.
Service
I have had Fords continuously since 1974 and the only problem I had with any of them was in the early 80s with a Mk3 Escort, which were renowned for breaking cam belts. Believe me, if I started having trouble I would ditch them straight away.
