A bargin for a £3k car as new was £22500 all the toys on ghia x
Costs
V6 thirsty but don't care hate diesels with a passion group 16 insurance bit high though.Tyres dear for 16"" alloys but TC helps lower wear factor Just replace oil every 4 k-Happy Days!

Driving
Smooth and Handles well ! Using fourth gear on takes you up to 120 quick and loses most cars and before fifth gear they don't expect it from a mondeo estate! 6 pot punch!!
Performance
Other cars pull up next to my estate in the wrong lane thinking its a push over but fail to realise the 6 pot under the bonnet-embaressed many a car off the lights!!

Living with it
Reliability
Good. Had airbag light on a few times always seat connections! Replaced plastic impleller water pump for a QH metal impeller type as many people have had the originals fail thus cooking engine - Heard a few having at least £1000 bill for head skim etc

Front is good to look at but rear is to much like mk1 estate lights the same etc did ford run out of money on the mk 2 estate? V6 badge helps a bit!

Truly a dream with heated leather-just recline the full electric seats on long motorway drives

Seems ok no problems with remote or alarm or deadlocks

Forget any warranty ford always get out of it and charge a packet for a service-Just do it yourself

Sticking secondaries 3200rpm+just cleaned with switch cleaner-ok now for 6 months
