In their own words

Handles well and plenty of space in cabin and boot (the latter very good for golfers).Seats large but with average support so had Driver's padding increased to seat back.Only had usual wear and tear for brake discs and pads and has been relatively cheap to run.Has old style manual handbrake. is a manual and,as only do 10k miles pa, is petrol engined so doesn't have DPF and so on to go wrong, so has been very reliable. Came with 17 inch Goodyear tyres which cost £105 each and last 20-25,000 miles.Quiet and refined compared to older diesels but tax is £150 compared to some diesels that may be £30.Comfortable for long journeys as plenty of leg and shoulder room.Enough torque at 177lb/ft (158hp) for overtaking on motorway in top gear. The interior doesn't make you feel special but I knew that and was prepared to put up with it given all the positives and the relatively cheap purchase cost £11750 at 2 years old with 10k on the clock.
