£500, sub-1000 miles, just flew through MOT. Couldn't get much better.

    Costs

Heavy on fuel around town and first thing in the morning and batteries are not cheap.

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Lovely to drive, it inspires confidence ride getting a bit sloppy now though.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Quick when warm, terrible when stone cold. Could do with better 1/2 gear ratios.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

92,000 miles last owner put in some really cheap oil, but it did no harm - it just keeps going and going. Watch out for over-sensitive fuel cut out switch wich is immpossible to find.

I think it looks nice, but it still has the rep/Mondeo Man image problem.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

What more could you ask for? Electric seats and it's like driving in you comfiest armchair.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Standard alarm works, but it sounds pants and it doesn't scare the local cats so it's not going to trouble a thief.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

None, just no room to work. Too many loose silly wires everywhere and that annoying low fuel cut-off hidden behind the block (Ford's idea of a joke).

    Other

Hidden fuse box. I still haven't found it.
