So cheap to buy now. Plenty about, so be choosy.
Costs
Part are cheap if you know some one to fit. Ford will rip you off though - front tyres are a problem.

Very safe handling - Chuckable for its size and safe with ABS.
Performance
Pretty quick. I had the 115bhp 1.8, and managed 130 mph!

Reliability
Ok, apart from tyres. If you check the oil and wash it should have no problems, although the paint finish isn't up too much (door paint fell off during Jet washing!)

Too many about. I had a GLX, which looks a lot better with color coded mirrors.
Comfort
Brilliant for cruising, eats the mileage up and plenty of toys in the GLX model.

Security
Alarm, immobiliser and remote central double locking as standard on the GLX. Also not very attractive to thieves.

Not that daft to give Ford my money (unless it's for wheel trims!)

Engine
Juddered some times. Got new HT leads and flushed the engine, which cured it.

Blown interior bulb and suspension bushes ( prone ).
