Summary
What does this car say about you?
This car tells everyone I should have gone to specsavers, but I don't care. I like it and the big bug eyes (that everyone including merc are copying) actually give very good light
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My family liked it so much they bought another (we're currently hunting a third) and all my neighbours and friends look at it and then say WOW - lot of car for the money!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Nope, as I already own it - no seriously once I got over being ripped off by the dealer and spending a grand to put old faults right it's been outstanding and I totally love the parts prices after my Sterling - anyone who thinks the bits are expensive wants a Sterling or Senator
What are you likely to buy next?
If Ford still made it I'd buy another - but I think it will have to be an LS400

Nope- got ripped off as the gearbox was shot
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted to get rid of my Rover Sterling but still have a large non-German car
What was the dealer like?
Not interested in various problems the car came with after having the car for a weeks worth of "bodges"

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Makes my old sterling feel like a plug lead had fell off - we've got two now mine and a 2.0 auto - I prefer the manual. I've just fitted an eco-tek valve, it makes the already good fuel figures even better.
What's it like to park?
If you leave it as standard you've no idea where it's backside is - but fit some reverse sensors (half hour job) and it's a total dream. Biggest advantage is the turning circle, my old man has a Rover 600 the scorpio would spin round inside it all day

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Since I had the gearbox and exhaust changes (problems the car came with) it's been totally reliable
What's most practical about your car?
I'm well over 6 foot and 18 stone but the legroom and leather seats are pure bliss - only problem is that pedals are a little tight for size 12's
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I love playing with the trip computer - sorry officer I was looking honest!
