A lot of car for little money, if you get a good one.

Parts are very cheap and running costs are reasonable.

Driving
Handling is ok. Had a few hairy moments on wet roads - back end can be very hard to control on roundabouts. Rear wheel drive makes the car very well balanced.
Performance
This engine really takes a hammering as long as the oil is changed regularly. Camshaft noisy on high milers.

8 years I've had mine and twice it hasn't started - both due to me leaving the lights on.

Give it ten years and it will be a classic.

Really comfortable on a long motorway drive.
