Other Honda Accord (2003 - 2008) models:

  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Not a lot really, it is a diesel saloon after all! But I do think it's the best of it's breed..

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    All comments have been positive!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely, this is my second Accord and is even better than my first. They're built like swiss watches, are very reliable and so comfortable on a long run.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another Accord! Though may go back to petrol next time if my mileage goes down....

Great deal, good allowance for my part ex and the screen price was keen all things considered.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had the previous model, which was brilliant, so went for the diesel version this time..

    What was the dealer like?

Totally useless, nothing else I can say!

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fantastic, Honda's first diesel is predictably excellent, engine is refined & smooth, pulls very strongly in any gear at any speed, gearbox is slick & short throw, clutch is light & smooth, brakes strong, comfy ride and secure handling. What more do you want?

    What's it like to park?

Ok for me, but it needs parking sensors, which luckily I have...

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Timing chain, water pump leak, clutch master cylinder.

What's most practical about your car?

Decent sized boot, but hampered by saloon body, always had hatchbacks previously so miss this bodystyle. But the upside of this is that its noticeably quieter than a hatch..

    Touchscreen sat nav... ::).
