Honda Civic Type-R (2007 - 2010) 2.0 i-VTEC GT 3d Owner Review

Bought this car used and 4 months on its one of my finest automotive decisions to date yes there’s a lot true about the famous top gear review (I.e the ride, the seat going back to default position after someone’s in the back, the poor rear visibility) but these really are minor inconveniences and I like the think of them as character the engine is intoxicating especially as you hit VTEC the handling is pin sharp (but be careful in the wet) when you turn the traction control off it really is off so if you mess up you’re on your own! Fuel economy wise it’s not great the highest I’ve got is about 35mpg and the lowest is 7! But if you’re buying a hot hatch I’m sure fuel economy isn’t high on your list So in summary: the FN2 type R, a flawed beast but one that’s well worth your time the speed and handling are fantastic as is the gearbox (I forgot to mention that) and the boot is CAVERNOUS! on the down side it’s rear visibility is quite poor and the ride is hard If you’re thinking about buying one? Don’t bother thinking anymore just go and buy one! Thank me later ;-)
