What does this car say about you?

We wanted a 4x4 and it fits the bill.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Surprised I bought a Honda but when I tell them about their reliability record and being built in Britain they understand why.

Would you buy this car again and why?

YES because of reliability, built quality and being built in Britain NO if it still has the kick back on the Steering because I consider it a design fault and very annoying because I have not come across it on other vehicles.

What are you likely to buy next?

Don't know but if we wanted another 4x4 it would probably be the Toyota Rav 4 or Honda CRV.

    £28,079

When did you buy the car?

    March 2011

Did you get a good deal and why?

Very good paid less for a NEW UK spec import than secondhand under a year old cars we offered at.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted a reliable 4x4 for towing not a Volkswagen after bad experiences with other Passat’s my company owns so did my research and looked at what was suitable, the Honda CRV just beat Toyota Rave 4 because it was built in the UK and my partner also preferred it.

    What was the dealer like?

First Class all the way, ther were 3 of us picking up CRVs that Saturday morning.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

It's very quiet, comfortable and pleasant to drive BUT I do not like the slight kick back you get from the steering on nearly full lock which I can even sense on some roundabouts, I have had the Dealer check this twice and they assure me it's normal, still seems faulty to me so find it disconcerting and do not like it though my Wife who is the main driver does not even notice it.

    What's it like to park?

Very easy with the aid of the automatic dipping nearside door mirror and reverse camera.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Faulty Brake Light Switch caused management light to come on soon fixed under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

Nothing springs to mind it ticks all the boxes.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Reverse view camera absolutely brilliant for hooking up the Trailer and parking. Also the Touch screen sat Nav is the easiest I have found to operate to date.
