Summary
What does this car say about you?
While not going as far as the "Renault Espace as defined by Jeremy Clarkson" it is not far off. It says that I am off the bachelor's market.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It's good. When it runs.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Never. If I want something that is as reliable as a Lada I would buy a Lada so I can maintain it myself.
What are you likely to buy next?
Anything but Honda. A manufacturer that does not provide a courtesy car for 50+ days off-road due to faults. No, thanks.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I took it on a lease provided by my company. On paper it is a company car. In reality I am paying. This has allowed Honda to show its real colors.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was the only family car the wife approved after a test drive.
What was the dealer like?
All maintenance and repairs were to be carried out by Honda. This exceeded 50 days for the first 3 years taking 7+ days a time. In all cases Honda told me to go get lost when asking for courtesy car and generally behaved like I am their indentured serf.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent performance (when it works). Acceleration, handling, road holding are all very good.
What's it like to park?
Very reasonable for parking considering its size. Wheels are on the "box ends" so it can maneuver in a parking lot almost like a supermini.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The engine leaked like a sieve. Apparently none of the gaskets on one of the sides was factory sealed with silicone. Total of 3 visits to dealer for a total of 21+ days off the road. After that either the electrics packed up. The battery completely lost charge in a week every week for several weeks straight. 7 more days in a garage. Appauling build quality, major faults, obscene times to fix each one and none of the parts present in stock at the Honda dealership so waiting for weeks every time.
What's most practical about your car?
Reasonable luggage holding capacity and ability to seat 6 with luggage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The folding middle front seat.
