Excellent value, if you are not the first owner. I bought mine at just over 2 years old for 40% list price.

    Costs

This car is thirsty, make no mistake. BMW 740i and X-type 2.5 are all more frugal. Expect 24 on a run and 18 round town. Having said that, I am still on original exhaust after 60,000 miles and 6 years. Parts not expensive to buy or fit. Just the fuel.

Very comfortable cruiser. Not made for chucking round corners.

    Performance

Like to take it easy, but put it in the teptronic mode, floor it and then watch it go. But that's not why you buy it.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

100%. No faults whatsoever. Starts first time. Probably the most confidence-inspiring car I have had, including many ""prestige"" ones

    Image

    3 out of 5 3.0

It is so rare, people think it is either a Lexus or Cadillac. It tends to lose its image when you say it's a Hyundai, though.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Electric memory leather seats that adjust every way. Quiet engine and good sound proofing. First class stereo system, loads of space and huge boot.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Got a factory fitted security system, but no one has tried to steal it yet.

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

We have a local Hyundai dealer nearby whose customer base is about 90% private owners. The owner believes in personal service and, even though I bought the car privately, the whole ethos of the dealership is one of service. I can't praise the dealership
