Zero points for style, but so easy to live with, I really don't care.

On a cold day when it's raining, it's the best car they've ever seen...

Yes - but new model is a great improvement on what is already a great little town car.

Probably small diesel hatch.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not the best deal - the model was in high demand at the time and scrappage offers were limited.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Best new car for the money, given the scrappage allowance in the deal.

What was the dealer like?

Very clear and open, direct and courteous.

What's it like to drive?

Plucky, brilliantly light to drive in town, great gearchange, and easy to manoeuvre. A little breathless on motorways.

What's it like to park?

So easy - visibility and manoeuvrability both excellent.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Hasn't missed a beat - remarkable performance in all weathers that north Scotland has to offer.

What's most practical about your car?

Nothing really stands out - it's just really well thought through and easy to live with.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Not many of these on a Picanto.
