• Summary

What does this car say about you?

Likes quality but not OTT like the larger 4x4's. A Range Rover without the guilt

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone admires the inside and my toys, some people are so-so about the boxy styling - but I like it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, difficult to imagine a better quality and equipped non-saloon.

What are you likely to buy next?

Nothing for sometime, but would love to stretch to a Maserati Coupe (second hand)

OK, they took my old Freelander off me for the full 'all in order' price even though it required expensive work to be done.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It was the excellent service I got from Stratstone (despite problems with my previous Freelander)that tipped my decion to buy Land Rover again.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Real comfortable cruiser and much quicker than the old 2.0 TDI. More car like handling too, so can throw into corners and roundabouts easier. Only downside is the steering can be twitchy and over responsive at speed

    What's it like to park?

Despite feeling a lot bigger than the old Freelender, it parks easily the rear sensors are useful - front ones just annoying.

  • Living with it

    In 4 weeks - no

What's most practical about your car?

Intergrated bluetooth - a total joy and easy to use

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Bluetooth and SatNav, also this was one of the dealers managers cars and I really lie the leather/elec seats that are fitted as extra.
