Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

You have to accept the fuel consumption but the petrol versions are much more smooth and comfortable than the diesels. The car tows beautifully and it still looks good when its cleaned up. You can go to Ascot in it or you can go to the tip in it. I think the car benefits greatly by not having much of the high tech electronics, filters, turbos and systems etc. that modern cars have, this makes it much more reliable. We also have a small car which we use most of the time when we don't need the big car.

How reliable do you find the car?

You do expect some repairs and replacements to a 15 year old Range Rover and spares are obviously more expensive than average. This can be helped by buying some after market spares rather than from Land Rover. There are many sources for spares. The period when the car is between 8 and 10 or 11 years old when some major stuff comes up for replacment but after that things settle down again. The engine and gearbox have been completely solid.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I have owned 3 Range Rovers and this is definitely the best built and most reliable.
