Land Rover Range Rover 2002-

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Shocking.
Considering it’s an off road vehicle there is no corrosion treatment to the underside /chassis.
Consequently any work required to steering/ suspension etc is met with seized nuts /bolts adding to labour costs.
My local Landrover trained technicians asked “ what has this car been used for? Towing trawlers out of the sea!” It was that rusty.
It has had issues with the camera system, brakes ( front callipers) electric handbrake system. Parking sensors failed.
Aircon pump and condenser failed, as did the air suspension compressor.
Most of this was covered under warranty and came to £5/6 grand but I have had to pay for one or two things that have failed outside of the warranty period.
Most failed at around the 108000 mile distance.
There was also a problem sourcing the parts for the repair the handbrake system ( 6 week wait due to no parts in the UK!)
However, the gearbox and engine are brilliant, silky smooth and very quick. Interior is a nice place to be.
This is the 3 Range Rover I’ve had and by far the worst for reliability and anti corrosion measures.
If I could afford to I’d give it to Top Gear to blow up live on TV.
