In their own words

After selling my 2003 Audi TT 225, I bought a campervan and needed a run around... I looked for months trying to find something economical, but something that I wouldn't hate driving. I was at a car sales one day and had enough of looking, so said to my daughter look for a car for dad... She chose the Mazda 2 sport... I've walked past this car on 3 separate occasions and when she pointed it out, I had a look, it had 46k on the clock, two previous lady owners, 1.5 16v engine... It ticked all the boxes. So made a deal that day. Waited a week while they sorted a new MOT and serviced it. I admit, the first 2 weeks of ownership, I hated it... Wasn't something I really owned before. But as time gone on... It's been the best car I've owned... It's not fast, but it's got a great revvy engine and awesome handling... Perfect for the roads in Wales where I live. It's such a fun car to drive on a budget... Averaging around 40mpg! I've had no problems with the car... Just spent money on tyres, brakes, servicing in the 4 years I've owned her. Did have to take her in on a recall of the passenger airbag, but obviously that didn't come out of my pocket. It's totally surprised me and definitely considering buying a newer version of the 2... Compared to other makes of cars, these are complete bargains... Well worth getting and totally recommend anyone to buy one... Even first time drivers, look at the 1.3 versions as they're cheaper to insure than most 1 litres.
