What does this car say about you?

I didn't buy a Corsa or a Fiesta.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Far nicer to drive than a Corsa, quite nippy with direct steering. My parents love to drive it and have decided that their next car will be a Mazda.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes I would.

Probably another Mazda - maybe when a new 2 comes out.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I bought privately with full HPI checks and independent checks. Definitely worth the extra cost over just buying privately for extra peace of mind - no issues or hidden information. Saved around £3k rather than buying through a dealer.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Good, stylish looks. Excellent price, with fantastic handling and a love for B-roads.

What's it like to drive?

Excellent, the 1.5 engine revs freely and if you put your foot down it does go with some punch. It's extremely fun on country roads and loves to be flung at corners. It promotes confidence in driving at speed. Whilst at motorway speeds, the sound insulation could be better, but it has excellent handling (as a Mazda should have) and is a joy to drive.

What's it like to park?

Extremely easy, with good rear visibility.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes - had a few flat/burst tyres due to potholes. ABS Control Unit failed - Mazda covered the cost of the repair (known issue/fault).

What's most practical about your car?

Reasonable amount of boot space, handy that you can split fold the seats, enough rear space for passengers.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

If you go for the top-end model, you can now get TomTom navigation, all cars come with AUX input, newer models come with USB input.
